In the fall of my junior year, a friend and I created Watkinson Political Discourse Club to fix the lack of an outlet for political discussion. We host weekly meetings on various topics to facilitate non-partisan political discussion with civility and respect for the ideas of others.

This fall, my co-founder and I are taking the mission of Political Discourse Club to a higher level. We have been in discussion with the head of Watkinson School, the chairs of the history and english departments, and the director of the Global Studies program to create a school-wide campaign on civil discourse as we head into the November election and beyond.
Senior Project
For my yearlong Senior Project, I have decided to explore one of my casual interests: Vexillology, or the study of flags. My essential question for the project is "What does it take to create a good national flag?"
